Each Tamatrac device that transmits data to the central server uses one Token per day while active. Tokens are only consumed by devices that are actively sending data, and they are automatically shared among all service provider devices. A device is considered active when it is assigned to an offender and is transmitting data to the server. To deactivate a device, simply unassign it. One Token is consumed per device within a standard 24-hour period when transmitting data to the server.
